When I joined the London office as an associate consultant within the tax team on the graduate scheme in 2012, I knew of the international footprint PageGroup had. Although I had heard of many people making a move abroad with great success, it wasn’t something I had planned.

That changed however, when I met my now husband at work. After 18 months as an operational consultant, I had moved into our account management team and both of us started exploring where else in the world we could go with the Group. We had many transparent conversations with our directors and were very open about our flexibility and ambition. Everyone we spoke to in the UK was hugely encouraging and did everything they could to ensure a positive transfer. Although we looked at several locations, we eventually settled on a move to Asia.

Our move to Singapore in 2017 was seamless and we both felt very welcomed into the new office. I am starting a new function in Asia and am finding it a huge adventure. Working at PageGroup feels like a family, so wherever you are in the world, nothing is too unfamiliar. I’m definitely glad we took advantage of the global presence that PageGroup has.
