The Air Freight Manager - APAC will oversee and manage the air freight operations within the Transport & Distribution industry, focusing on optimizing logistics processes and ensuring efficient service delivery. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur and requires strong expertise in logistics and air freight management across the APAC region.
This role is responsible for generating production and material supply requirements, developing supply and deployment plans, and ensuring consistent product availability across the network. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to anticipate constraints, run scenario analyses, and maintain inventory and supply alignment within an 18‑month horizon.
The role leads strategic and operational procurement for a high‑volume industrial environment, overseeing sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and supply continuity across multiple sites. It also drives cost optimisation, ESG‑compliant sourcing, and collaboration with global suppliers to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
This role oversees end‑to‑end operational readiness for overseas franchise stores, from pre‑opening preparation to coordination with cross‑functional departments. The position ensures smooth store launches through effective communication, problem‑solving, and operational execution.
This role leads end‑to‑end supply and demand planning, ensuring strong alignment between commercial needs, inventory strategy, and operational execution. It is a people‑centric leadership position designed to develop future planning leaders while driving continuous improvement across planning processes.
