This Training Manager position , will partner closely with regional business leaders to identify capability gaps, design and deliver technical sales training programmes, and drive competency development across the sales organisation. Responsibilities include end to end ownership of training initiatives, from needs analysis and programme planning through to workshop delivery and performance evaluation. Regional travel across Southeast Asia is expected.

This role sits within the regional operations of a global industrial solutions organisation specialising in water management, process optimisation, and sustainability services. The business supports mission critical facilities, including large-scale technology and data centre environments, through advanced water treatment, cooling system, and operational efficiency solutions. The position is responsible for enhancing technical sales capabilities and driving consistent learning and development outcomes across the region.

Job Description

  • Experience in technical sales training, learning & development, or commercial capability building.
  • Strong understanding of both sales processes and technical sales environments.
  • Regional Southeast Asia exposure with experience working across multiple markets.
  • Experience within water treatment, industrial chemicals, utilities, engineering services, or related industries.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Training Manager should have:

  • 8- 10 years experience in designing and delivering training programmes.
  • Experience in the Energy & Natural Resources industry, particularly in Sustainability & ESG.
  • Flexibility to travel regionally across Southeast Asia.
  • Commercially minded trainer who can translate technical concepts into practical sales capability.
  • Strong stakeholder manager with experience partnering business leaders to identify and address capability gaps.
  • Results-oriented individual with a structured approach to learning measurement and performance improvement.



What's on Offer

  • Salary: RM13,000 to RM17,000 per month.
  • 13th month salary.
  • RM200 monthly allowance.
  • Regional travel exposure across Southeast Asia.
