The Talent Acquisition Director oversees 3 core areas: Talent Attraction, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Experience. The purpose of this role is to meaningfully improve the hiring experience and outcomes in these areas.

Job Description

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead and develop a capable and dedicated team of 25+ talent acquisition professionals to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes to meet business needs
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to translate workforce plans into effective hiring strategies
  • Effective improvement on main and related people systems and platforms, building upon existing architecture to boost productivity and user experience.
  • Build strong talent pipelines for key and future-focused skills, including technology, data, AI, sustainability, digital capabilities, and leadership talent.
  • Further strengthen employer branding and promote a compelling employee value proposition to engage and attract top talent.
  • Use talent market insights and workforce data to improve hiring decisions and talent planning.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant:

  • 20+ years of overall experience with at least 12+ years in a senior leadership role leading teams of 20+ through a team of people managers.
  • Measurable track record of meeting business objectives by implementing talent strategy in a reputable organisation
  • Ability to influence C-level and cross HR function leaders, presenting strong business cases for innovation and transformation initiatives.
