Job Description

  • Lead revenue generation initiatives by developing and expanding a portfolio of targeted accounts within the renewable energy space.
  • Assess client needs and craft customized, practical solutions that deliver commercial and operational value.
  • Work closely with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure proposals and projects are aligned with client expectations.
  • Build long-term partnerships with customers and stakeholders, serving as a key point of contact and strategic advisor.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, market mapping, and staying informed on industry developments.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and strong client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Solar Business Development Manager should have:

  • Degree in any discipline, with relevant commercial exposure preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience engaging directly with clients in the renewable or clean energy sector.
  • Background in solution-based offerings, particularly within solar or related technologies, would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, work collaboratively, and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach to business development.
  • Open to travel as needed to support client engagement and business growth.
