Job Description

  • Manage the end-to-end RTR processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Review and finalise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial closing and reporting.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues and queries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Process Expert, Book 2 Close, should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement experience is a MUST
  • Experience in managing Book to Close processes within the energy and natural resources industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
