A global expanding manufacturer which involves in designing and manufacturing critical infrastructure supporting AI, cloud and data-center environments, while its Kulim facility was established specifically to support evolving data-center requirements.

Job Description

  • Lead technical projects to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in technology applications.
  • Establish strong engineering standards and technical competencies across Linux, networking, hardware debugging, test automation and advanced cooling technologies.
  • Monitor and analyse system performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Develop the roadmap for test automation, diagnostics, coverage and cycle-time improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Lead Engineer (FCT) should have:

  • A strong educational background in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of test engineering experience, especially Functional testing.
  • At least 3 years of technical leadership within an FCT/test engineering environment.
  • Strong experience supporting complex system-level products such as network switches.
  • Strong knowledge of x86 and/or ARM server architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, LabVIEW
  • Comfortable operating and troubleshooting within a Linux environment.
  • Strong understanding of automated test architecture and manufacturing test systems
