The business operates with a lean, hands-on sales culture, regional leadership across Asia, and strong technical support through local application engineers.

Job Description

  • Own and grow sales across assigned regions within Malaysia
  • Develop new business while expanding existing accounts within high-growth customer segmetns
  • Work closely with distributors and partners to increase market penetration
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and customer PICs within target accounts
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations and basic business proposals
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with application engineers to support technical discussions and solutions
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager should have:

    • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales within components, fasteners, industrial, E&E, EMS, automotive or related sectors
    • Background in metal components or engineered products is highly advantageous
    • Strong individual contributor with high drive and ownership mentality
    • Comfortable working independently without relying on large teams
    • Fluent in English; spoken Mandarin is a big plus to communicate with regional partners
    • Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia
