An established consumer goods organisation is seeking a Rewards Expert, MYSG, to lead compensation, benefits, mobility, and reward governance across Malaysia and Singapore. This highly visible individual contributor role offers the opportunity to shape reward strategy, influence business decisions, and partner closely with regional and global stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Lead the design, implementation and communication of compensation and benefits programmes across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Drive annual reward cycles including salary reviews, short-term incentives and long-term incentive programmes.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and reward analysis to ensure competitive and effective reward practices.
  • Serve as the key advisor on compensation-related decisions throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage benefits administration and ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders on complex compensation, benefits and workforce cost matters.
  • Lead compensation and benefits audits, governance activities and compliance initiatives.
  • Support global mobility activities and international assignments in alignment with corporate policies.
  • Manage reward budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis while identifying cost optimisation opportunities.
  • Lead local and regional reward projects, including transformation, process improvement and policy implementation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Rewards Expert, MYSG should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards experience, including coverage of Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, benefits programmes and employment regulations in both markets.
  • Proven ability to independently lead projects and manage senior stakeholders across multiple functions and cultures.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication capabilities.
