This is a Regional HR Business Partner position based remotely in Malaysia. The role will support countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia and Hong Kong, with potential exposure to additional markets such as Australia and Fiji. Success in the role will be measured by the ability to influence senior stakeholders, proactively manage workforce needs, employee relations, and provide effective HR solutions across multiple markets.

Job Description

  • Strong regional HRBP experience, ideally supporting multiple countries
  • Proven employee relations capability and experience handling complex people matters independently.
  • Confidence and credibility engaging senior commercial leaders across different countries and cultures.
  • Lead workforce planning and proactively identify future recruitment needs to ensure business growth and resource readiness.
  • Support promotion and succession planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and talent development goals.
  • Review and enhance employee benefits programmes to ensure market competitiveness and support attraction and retention efforts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HRBP should have:

  • HRBP with regional exposure
  • Confident communicator to build relationships with stakeholders across different countries
  • Commercially minded, proactive and able to work effectively in a remote and regional environment.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations and performance issues effectively.
  • A proactive approach to driving organisational success through HR strategies.

  • Attractive salary range between MYR 180000 and MYR 276000 annually.
