Our client is a leading global consumer goods manufacturing organisation with an established international presence and a strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

As part of its continued business growth, the organisation is looking for an experienced Project Commercialization Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure successful execution of product and process commercialisation projects.

Job Description

People Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of commercialization professionals, building a strong pipeline of talent and future leaders.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, objectives and development plans to drive individual and team effectiveness.
  • Build a high-performing team culture centred on accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen functional capabilities, workforce planning and resource allocation to support current and future business needs.
  • Drive employee engagement, succession planning and talent development within the function.



Strategic & Functional Leadership

  • Define and execute the commercialization strategy in alignment with broader business and operational objectives.
  • Oversee the commercialization project portfolio, ensuring effective prioritisation, governance, resource allocation and delivery.
  • Establish functional KPIs, performance frameworks and governance processes to enhance execution discipline and accountability.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on project feasibility, investment requirements, capacity and operational readiness.



Commercialization & Business Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end commercialization lifecycle, from concept development and feasibility assessment through to industrialisation and full-scale production.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure new products, processes and technologies are successfully integrated into manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, resources, capital requirements and risk management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercialization processes, manufacturing efficiency, cost competitiveness and overall project delivery.



Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key business partner to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and driving alignment.
  • Build strong partnerships across regional and global teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and best-practice implementation.
  • Navigate complex business priorities and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in commercialization, NPI, product industrialisation, manufacturing engineering or large-scale project management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in leading, managing and developing teams, with strong experience in performance management, talent development and organisational capability building.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and manage multiple strategic priorities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, technical feasibility, capacity planning and operational readiness.
  • Experience managing project portfolios, budgets, capital investments and resource allocation.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and business partnering capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Travelling is required for the role (approximately 30-35%)
