You will also play a key role in transformation initiatives to evolve payroll operations.Key responsibilities include:Owning end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring consistency and best practices across regionsIdentifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracyLeading payroll transformation efforts, including automation and process optimisationCollaborating with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream processesSupporting payroll system enhancements, implementations, and digitalisation initiativesEnsuring compliance with local and international payroll regulations, with strong governance and controlsMonitoring legislative changes and proactively updating processes to mitigate risksConducting regular reviews and audits to maintain high-quality and compliant payroll operationsThe Successful ApplicantA successful candidate should bring a balance of payroll expertise and process improvement mindset:Proven experience in end-to-end payroll operations within a shared services or multinational environmentExposure to managing or owning payroll processes across multiple countries or regions (experience supporting Europe is an advantage)Solid understanding of payroll compliance, controls, and regulatory requirementsProficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively engage with stakeholders in ChinaExperience in process improvement, transformation initiatives, or payroll system implementationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailAdaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentWhat's on OfferOpportunity to own and shape payroll processes within a global shared services environmentExposure to regional payroll transformation and digital initiativesCareer development opportunities within a multinational organisationHybrid working arrangements If you're passionate about improving payroll processes and want to be part of a global transformation journey, we'd love to hear from you.
