About Our Client

Our client is a Global chemicals manufacturing organization with operations across APAC and a strong presence globally. With a diverse manufacturing network and continued investment in its operations, the business is looking to strengthen its regional leadership team with an experience Operations leader who can drive performance and build capability across the region.

Job Description

  • Lead operational performance across multiple manufacturing sites within the region.
  • Develop and execute the regional operations strategy in alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, cost, quality, service and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and embed a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and performance.
  • Lead the development of site leadership teams and build a strong pipeline of operational talent.
  • Partner closely with commercial, supply chain, engineering, quality, finance and other functional leaders to deliver business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise the regional manufacturing footprint, processes and resource allocation.
  • Lead major operational transformation and improvement initiatives across the region.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and governance mechanisms to ensure consistency across sites.
  • Promote standardisation and the sharing of best practices across the manufacturing network.
  • Ensure robust operational, safety, quality and compliance standards are maintained.
  • Act as a senior leader and change agent, influencing stakeholders across different markets and organisational levels.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a seasoned operations leader with significant experience managing multi-site operations, ideally within a complex international organisation.You should bring:

  • Significant leadership experience in regional or multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • A strong track record of improving operational performance and delivering measurable business results.
  • Experience leading transformation, continuous improvement or operational excellence programmes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, service, quality and growth
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and influence senior leadership teams.
  • Experience working across different countries and cultural environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate strategically while remaining close to the operation.
  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
