This Regional HRBP role, is an individual contributor HR role supporting regionally across Sotheast Asia approximately 40hc . Reporting to the Head of HR and APAC Senior Director, the role will lead recruitment, HR operations, and business partnering activities. The successful candidate will be a proactive HR professional who can operate independently, influence stakeholders, and drive people initiatives in a lean, growth-oriented environment.

About Our Client

Our client is a multinational healthcare company operating within the vision care sector, with an established footprint across Asia Pacific. The organisation combines commercial and medical operations across both direct and distributor markets and is seeking an HR professional to support its Malaysia business while partnering closely with regional stakeholders.

Job Description

  • 5 to 8 years of broad HR generalist experience, including recruitment experience.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole HR resource supporting the Malaysia business.
  • Lead and support culture transformation initiatives by partnering with business leaders to enhance employee engagement, and embed a high-performance culture aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability with confidence in challenging, coaching and advising managers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and performance management matters, including coaching managers through under performance cases.
  • Support organisational change and transformation projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HRBP should have:

  • Regional exposure and experience supporting sales or commercial teams would be advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management, prioritisation and coaching capabilities.
  • Proven experience in HR functions, preferably within the life science industry.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving and decision making.
