The Project Manager will be responsible to lead, coordinate and oversee the execution of petrochemical engineering and industrial projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality and schedule requirements. The role involves managing client relationships, project risks, commercial and contractual matters, technical coordination and overall project performance from project initiation through delivery.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage all project activities to ensure successful execution and delivery
  • Act as the primary contact for clients and external stakeholders on project matters
  • Ensure customer satisfaction while protecting project and business interests
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, budget and overall performance
  • Manage contractual, commercial and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while capturing business opportunities
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers
  • Oversee project planning, progress tracking, reporting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Support subcontractor management, supplier visits and change order negotiations

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the Oil & Gas, energy or industrial sector
  • Experience managing projects involving skid-mounted process or treatment units
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, structural and piping engineering principles
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical and commercial project matters
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
