Job Description

  • Oversee the administration, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Manage and maintain Linux-based server environments (AlmaLinux/RHEL), ensuring system stability, security, and performance.
  • Administer PostgreSQL databases, including database monitoring, backup and recovery processes, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and support IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and related systems.
  • Perform regular system maintenance activities, including patch management, health checks, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of backup and recovery procedures to support business continuity requirements.
  • Implement and uphold IT security standards, including access management, system logging, monitoring, and security best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure, system, and user-related issues on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventories, software license records, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in IT audits, compliance initiatives, and infrastructure enhancement projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in Linux server administration and support.
  • Solid experience in PostgreSQL database administration and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of network infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server platforms, virtualization technologies, and enterprise backup solutions.
  • Experience supporting business-critical IT infrastructure and resolving operational incidents.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, backup management, and IT security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
