Job Description

  • Oversee and coordinate transport and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimise supply chain processes.
  • Monitor and manage transport costs while ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to transportation.
  • Analyse logistics performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with transport providers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
  • Handle any transport-related issues or disruptions promptly and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport professional should have:

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve logistics performance.
