Job Description

  • Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations and deliver high-quality service.
  • Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop competitive strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager (Export) should have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of solid sales experience in plastic and/or food & beverage packaging.
  • Proven market exposure to APAC and Oceania regions.
  • Fast‑paced, hands‑on, execution-driven sales professional.
  • Capable of building new markets, not just maintaining existing accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ownership of the full sales cycle - pricing, operations coordination, and follow‑through.
  • Brings market intelligence, structure, and strategic thinking to the sales function.
  • Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes/products is an advantage.
