As a key member of the regional leadership team, the Country HR Manager will shape and execute the people strategy across Asia Pacific, supporting ambitious growth and acquisition plans. Partnering with senior stakeholders, the role will oversee all HR functions across multiple markets, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, cultural transformation, and operational excellence.

With ambitious growth plans across Asia Pacific, including organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, the business is seeking a commercially minded and forward-thinking Head of Human Resources to lead the people agenda across the region.

Job Description

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute the regional HR strategy aligned to business objectives, growth priorities, and long-term organizational goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, and culture transformation.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, employee engagement, and workforce productivity.
  • Support business leaders in navigating change, transformation, and business expansion initiatives.



Growth & Mergers and Acquisitions

  • Partner closely with leadership teams on business expansion and acquisition activities across Asia Pacific.
  • Lead HR due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition harmonization initiatives.
  • Drive organizational alignment, talent assessment, leadership retention, and cultural integration throughout M&A activities.
  • Ensure scalable people frameworks are in place to support rapid business growth.



Talent & Leadership Development

  • Build and execute talent management and succession planning strategies for critical roles across the region.
  • Drive leadership development and capability-building initiatives to strengthen the organization's talent pipeline.
  • Champion employer branding and talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber talent in competitive markets.



HR Operations & Governance

  • Ensure consistent and effective HR policies, processes, and governance across multiple countries.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance matters.
  • Drive HR process improvement, digitalization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and corporate governance standards.



Change Management & Culture

  • Lead organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture aligned with company values.
  • Support leaders in embedding accountability, agility, and continuous improvement practices across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including regional responsibilities.
  • Proven experience within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, industrial services, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior leadership to drive business transformation and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong exposure to mergers, acquisitions, business integration, and organizational change management.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally, with a track record of delivering initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams across multiple countries in Asia Pacific.
  • Strong commercial acumen, influencing skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional regional language capabilities would be an advantage.
