The role will oversee commissioning processes from start-up through handover, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute commissioning activities across multiple projects
  • Manage the commissioning process from start-up, construction, testing, acceptance, and operational handover
  • Review project designs and assess compliance with technical specifications, client requirements, and industry standards
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure commissioning milestones are achieved within schedule
  • Coordinate and oversee commissioning agents, contractors, and suppliers throughout project execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning-related issues on-site
  • Conduct functional performance testing and systems validation activities
  • Ensure all Mechanical and Electrical systems operate efficiently and meet operational requirements
  • Provide leadership during project closeout and transition into operational phases
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive commissioning reports and documentation for completed projects
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning management, design management, or a related field
  • Experience within data center or mission-critical facility environments is highly preferred
  • Good understanding of data center infrastructure, mission-critical design concepts, and industry standards
  • Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems and services
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams
  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement practices
  • Willingness to travel to project sites when required
