Job Description

  • Drive sales and business development for steel construction solutions
  • Identify, develop, and manage key customer accounts including developers, contractors, and sub‑contractors
  • Support project sales by engaging architects, engineers, and project owners to secure product specifications
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and sales proposals
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular site and office visits
  • Provide technical and commercial support to meet project and client requirements
  • Resolve client issues in coordination with internal teams
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and industry trends
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management
  • Track and manage project opportunities using CRM or sales tracking systems

The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Manager should have:

  • Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development within construction or building materials
  • Strong existing relationships with architects and C&S consulting firms
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin
  • Goal‑oriented, proactive, and results‑driven mindset
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions
  • Valid driving licence and own transport
