Job Description

  • Coordinate sea freight operations from booking through delivery, ensuring shipments follow agreed transport plans.
  • Manage shipment coordination activities with internal supply chain contacts, vendors and freight forwarders.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to maintain visibility across transport movements.
  • Prepare, review and manage shipping documentation to support accurate shipment processing.
  • Work closely with logistics providers to resolve shipment issues and reduce delays.
  • Manage vendor and freight forwarder coordination to support reliable transport services.
  • Identify transport disruptions, investigate causes and implement practical solutions to keep shipments on track.
  • Maintain accurate transport records and shipment information for effective logistics and supply chain coordination.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Management professional should have:

  • Practical experience in sea freight operations and shipment coordination.
  • Knowledge of transport management within logistics and supply chain activities.
  • Experience working with vendors, freight forwarders and other logistics providers.
  • Ability to prepare and manage shipping documentation accurately.
  • Capability to track and monitor shipments across transport stages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for managing shipment disruptions and delivery issues.
