It is dedicated to excellence in product innovation, quality assurance, and delivering high-performance solutions to its global clientele.Job DescriptionSupport a Staff Engineer in delivering electronics development, validation, and approval testing within a laboratory environmentInstall, commission, and utilise new electronics test equipment and testing proceduresExecute electronic, electro‑mechanical, software, and firmware tests on new products and design changesPerform established mechanical tests where required to support electronics validationCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to test products, systems, components, and modificationsAnalyse test results, interpret findings, and clearly communicate intent, outcomes, and risksIdentify potential design, test method, test plan, and laboratory process issues early and propose solutionsSupport fixture design, test protocol development, and product improvement recommendationsDevelop detailed test reports including methodology, data, results, and recommendationsContribute to the development, documentation, and training of laboratory equipment, procedures, and standardsParticipate in design reviews, internal problem‑solving activities, and external technical discussionsEvaluate opportunities to introduce data acquisition and automation into manual test processesProactively recommend enhancements to laboratory technical capabilities to meet evolving business needsMaintain continuous learning and professional developmentCarry out additional duties as requiredThe Successful ApplicantA successful Test Technician should have:Associate degree (AAS) in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experienceBackground in electronics, electrical engineering, robotics, or related disciplinesMinimum of 3 years' hands‑on experience in electronics or electro‑mechanical testingAbility to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and software or firmware codeExperience testing electro‑mechanical systems with embedded and application softwareStrong electronic circuit and software troubleshooting skillsSoldering capability for PCB repair and modificationExperience with EMI testing equipment and environmental test chambersProficiency in standard laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, dielectric and leakage current testers)Experience with electronics‑specific tools such as spectrum analysers and soldering stationsAbility to disassemble and reassemble consumer or electro‑mechanical products correctlyStrong analytical thinking, judgement, and problem‑solving capabilityAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyDemonstrated focus on continuous improvement and delivering resultsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teamsWhat's on OfferCompetitive annual salary ranging from MYR 3000 to MYR 4000.Opportunity to work in a multinational corporation (MNC) with a strong industry presence.Permanent employment with potential for career growth.Supportive and professional work environment.Join a leading organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector and contribute to its success.
