Job Description

  • Champion quality assurance efforts by overseeing end-to-end testing activities across software, hardware, and integrated systems.
  • Establish robust testing strategies to validate product performance, sensor capabilities, and seamless hardware-software interactions.
  • Build and optimize automated testing solutions while advancing CI/CD-driven quality practices.
  • Create innovative testing tools and frameworks to improve functional, integration, and performance testing efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose defects, drive root-cause analysis, and deliver high-quality releases.
  • Provide leadership and direction to testing teams, ensuring alignment with project priorities, delivery timelines, and quality objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Test Engineer - Software & IoT:

  • 3+ years in software development &/or software testing or Automation Testing with strong proficiency in Python.
  • Bachelor Degree with Electrical Engineering, EE Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with the development and construction of test processes and equipment for product and component evaluation, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including test procedures, test plans, and test reports.
  • Proven ability to guide, mentor, or support Software Test Technicians within a testing or development environment.
  • Working knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams using communication and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple development teams and diverse working styles.
