As part of its ongoing growth and expansion, the company is seeking a Technical Sourcing Engineer to support strategic sourcing and supplier management activities for critical components, materials, and engineering services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to identify and develop qualified suppliers, drive cost optimization initiatives, manage supplier performance, and ensure a reliable supply of materials for both new and existing products. This role plays a key part in supporting new product introduction (NPI) programs, supplier development, and the delivery of world-class semiconductor equipment solutions to customers globally.

Job Description

  • Source and develop suppliers for fabrication parts, precision machined components, sheet metal, standard components, modules, and indirect materials required for semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, technical competencies, quality performance, and production capacity to support business and engineering requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to support new product introductions (NPI), supplier qualification, and ongoing supply continuity.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, value engineering, process improvements, and sourcing strategy optimization while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and improvement programs focused on quality, delivery, lead time reduction, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain supplier databases, sourcing records, and procurement documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards and supply chain requirements.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sourcing, procurement engineering, supplier development, or strategic sourcing within the semiconductor, electronics, capital equipment, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, fabrication methods, mechanical components, and technical drawings.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple supplier-related projects independently.
