A company in the industrial/manufacturing SSC sector based in Malaysia.

Job Description

  • Manage and monitor credit control activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the assessment and approval of credit applications to minimise financial risk.
  • Review and analyse customer accounts for overdue payments and implement collection strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collection performance to management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and improve payment processes.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and accurate financial records.
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance to achieve departmental goals.
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Team Leader, Credit Control & Collections should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of credit management and control processes in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
