Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability across all infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement automation tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve system resilience.
  • Optimize existing systems for better scalability, performance, and security.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement long-term solutions.
  • Participate in the design and deployment of new infrastructure and tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for system reliability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) should have:

  • A background in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and monitoring systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • An understanding of DevOps principles and system architecture.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in system reliability.
  • An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
