They are committed to quality excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout their manufacturing and supply chain processes.Job DescriptionManage supplier quality assurance and quality control activities for assigned suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.Drive supplier quality improvement and supplier development programmes through performance monitoring, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Production, Purchasing, and Engineering to support new product development and ongoing production quality activities.Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate supplier capabilities, quality systems, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance.Provide technical support and quality guidance to suppliers during new product introduction and mass production phases.Perform initial sample inspections and product evaluations to verify compliance with specifications before production approval.Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies and quality tools.Support supplier performance management and contribute to continuous quality improvement projects.Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.Undertake additional duties and projects assigned by management.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, or a related quality assurance function.Strong English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience working within a multinational, cross-functional, or global environment is advantageous.Exposure to industries such as foundry/casting, forging, valves, piping products, fire protection systems, or rubber manufacturing is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Practical experience with quality methodologies and tools including 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.Experience conducting supplier audits, quality assessments, and supplier development initiatives.Ability to work independently while managing multiple supplier-related projects.Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.What's on OfferOpportunity to work with a multinational company (MNC).Work from home with regional traveling required.ContactEthan TayQuote job refJN-072026-7064669Phone number6012 330 2463Job summaryFunctionEngineering & ManufacturingSpecialisationQuality, TechnicalWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationKuala LumpurContract TypePermanentConsultant nameEthan TayConsultant contact6012 330 2463Job ReferenceJN-072026-7064669
