Job Description

  • Drive technical specification and consultative selling activities for targeted construction projects, ensuring early product inclusion and preference.
  • Engage project stakeholders early, from design development through construction, to influence technical decisions and specifications.
  • Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and workshops for architects, consultants, engineers, quantity surveyors, and building owners.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors, developers, and project owners to support specification success.
  • Collect and share market intelligence, project pipeline updates, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within existing accounts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Specification Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in specification work, technical sales, consultative selling, or key account management, ideally within the building and construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction project workflows and stakeholder decision-making dynamics.
