Job Description

  • Engage architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and authorities at concept and design stages to secure product specifications and approvals
  • Track and manage project pipelines to convert specifications into secured projects
  • Maintain accurate reporting on project status, market activities, and new opportunities
  • Support marketing and sales objectives through seminars, trade fairs, advertising, and branding initiatives
  • Conduct market research to identify expansion opportunities and support strategic planning
  • Collaborate with R&D to provide market insights, support product innovation, and advise on pricing strategies
  • Analyse competitors and develop strategies to strengthen product positioning and benchmarks
  • Meet specification targets for assigned projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Specification Manager should have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Structural / Building / Construction) or Architecture, or related discipline
  • Relevant experience in product or system specification work within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and design compliance in Southeast Asia
  • Established network with architects and consultants
  • Strong presentation, engagement, and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bilingual capability is an advantage
  • Willing to travel and possess own vehicle
