About Our Client

An established and growing manufacturer in semiconductor industry, is looking to expand its team in Kulim. It is a leading global manufacturing organisation (MNC) undergoing significant digital transformation and technology modernisation across its operations.

Job Description

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and define solution requirements.
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures and technical specifications aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate functional, technical, integration, security, and performance requirements to develop robust solutions.
  • Produce and maintain architecture and design documentation while securing stakeholder alignment and approvals.
  • Provide architectural governance and ensure compliance with technology standards and best practices.
  • Incorporate security, compliance, and data governance requirements into all solution designs.
  • Ensure successful implementation and adherence to approved solution architecture.
  • Support project delivery, continuous improvement initiatives, and technology innovation programmes.
  • Contribute to operational excellence and achievement of project milestones.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Solution Architect - Mes/Aes System(Kulim) should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture, solution design, or implementation within manufacturing technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), industrial automation, equipment integration, or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable enterprise solutions across software, infrastructure, and database layers.
  • Hands-on experience integrating MES and operational technology solutions with enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, system scalability, cybersecurity, and reliability.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and smart manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled development, automation tools, or digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
  • Relevant MES platform certifications or equivalent technical certifications will be an added advantage.
