Job Description

  • Develop and implement embedded software solutions using C++ for industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Perform software debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software systems to meet evolving project needs.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document software designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.
  • Support hardware integration and system-level testing as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Software Engineer (Embedded C++) should have:

  • A strong foundation in C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
  • Experience with embedded systems and MCU/MPU architectures (ARM, RISC-V, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hardware communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN Bus, and EtherCAT.
  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of hardware-software integration processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
