Job Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Handle invoice processing accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve P2P-related queries and discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Maintain and update financial records in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive implementation within the P2P function.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior P2P (Japanese Speaker) should have:

  • Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2), both written and spoken, to handle stakeholder communication.
  • A strong background in Accounting & Finance, particularly in procure-to-pay processes.
  • Min 1 year experience in P2P/AP/PTP/T&E. Candidates with AR experience are welcomed to apply.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience working in the Life Science industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
