We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to support the development of UHP gas purification systems for the semiconductor industry

About Our Client

Our client is a global technology-driven manufacturer that develops advanced materials, fluid handling, and gas purification solutions.

Job Description

  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for UHP gas purification equipment.
  • Interpret and work with P&IDs, gas flow paths, and system architectures.
  • Perform mechanical component sizing, specification, and selection.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, BOMs, specifications, and design records.
  • Support system integration activities involving electrical, controls, software, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analysis.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Support product validation, FAT, qualification, commissioning, and production builds.
  • Drive manufacturing readiness and product transfer activities.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Exposure to gas systems, gas delivery equipment, semiconductor equipment, fluid control systems, or related industries.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.
  • Familiar with component design, assemblies, fluid systems, or process equipment.
  • Ability to understand P&IDs, flow paths, and system integration concepts.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience is advantageous.
