Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local regulatory requirements, policies, guidelines, and internal standards.
  • Partner with product development teams to embed regulatory and compliance requirements throughout the product design and development process.
  • Review product documentation and marketing materials, including PDS, brochures, and collaterals, to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Conduct regulatory gap assessments and risk reviews against requirements issued by BNM, LIAM, Group Compliance, and other relevant authorities.
  • Manage the regulatory database and monitor regulatory developments to ensure timely implementation of new or updated requirements.
  • Provide regulatory advice and guidance to business units, helping stakeholders identify, manage, and mitigate key compliance risks.
  • Ensure regulatory submissions and reports are accurate, complete, timely, and appropriately prepared for submission to relevant authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and follow-ups with business units and third parties to address and resolve identified issues and agreed actions.
  • Drive compliance awareness by coordinating mandatory e-learning, annual Code of Conduct certifications, and engagement initiatives across employees.
  • Prepare compliance reports for Group Compliance, ORC, EXCO, and the Board, while collaborating with relevant stakeholders on regulatory implementation and other assigned compliance initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or related field with more than 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of local AML, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • More than 5 years of compliance, internal control, or related experience in financial services, preferably insurance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and improvement-oriented.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
