About Our Client

This leadership role is responsible for driving the end-to-end development, enhancement, and management of life insurance products across individual and group businesses. The successful candidate will lead product strategy, market research, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and product launches while managing a high-performing product development team.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation, proposition development, approval, implementation, and post-launch review.
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and customer research to identify new product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, legal, compliance, distribution, and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Oversee product governance, regulatory compliance, product documentation, and approval processes.
  • Drive product enhancements, campaigns, and initiatives to improve business performance and customer value propositions.
  • Manage system requirements, UAT processes, and implementation readiness for product launches.
  • Coach and lead a team while fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Proposition Senior Manager should have:

  • A degree in banking, finance, business or any other relevant field
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, regulatory requirements, and product governance frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional stakeholders through end-to-end product development initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and build compelling business cases.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing and developing teams within a regulated financial services environment.
