Job Description

  • Enhance the efficiency of procurement processes.
  • Track and review all purchase requisitions and orders to ensure timely progress.
  • Update and refine purchasing policies and procedures for better compliance and performance.
  • Conduct contract reviews for goods and services purchased.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives across procurement activities.
  • Implement structured tendering procedures and develop an internal e-bidding system.
  • Manage supplier qualification and selection to ensure capability and capacity for delivery.
  • Oversee and maintain the approved vendor database within the system.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager Procurement should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience, preferably in waste management or environmental projects.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; service-oriented and a team player.
  • Customer-focused with a cost-conscious approach.
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen.
