Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation and review of general ledger reconciliations and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and mentor the accounting team to enhance their capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager, Senior Manager, General Ledger and Statutory Reporting should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional certification as an added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and statutory reporting standards in the life science industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage accounting teams effectively.
  • Experience in handling audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to provide financial insights.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing tasks and responsibilities
