An MNC organisation based in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.

Job Description

  • Managed end-to-end netting, intercompany settlements, treasury accounting, reconciliations, and exception resolution.
  • Served as SME for complex netting exceptions and settlement disputes, performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitored exception logs, identified recurring issues, and drove sustainable process improvements.
  • Prepared operational, month-end, and exception reports for stakeholders.
  • Led process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supported SAP and treasury system upgrades, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Maintained SOPs, control matrices, and training materials while coaching team members on new processes.
  • Ensured accurate treasury accounting and compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
  • Performed reconciliations between netting outputs, general ledger balances, and bank statements, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Validated master data, maintained key controls, and supported internal and external audit requirements.
  • Coordinated with Treasury, Accounting, Shared Services, Controllers, and IT teams to resolve operational issues and ensure timely settlements.
  • Acted as the key contact for netting, settlement, accounting treatment, and process-related queries.
