This Senior HR Executive, based in Malaysia under the HRBP function, plays a dual role combining hands on operational execution with strategic HR partnering to support business objectives and eventually regional alignment.

Job Description

  • Support HR initiatives with a primary focus on Malaysia operations, with opportunities to collaborate regionally over time
  • Ensure data accuracy, perform analysis, and drive process improvements, including the adoption of digital and AI-driven solutions
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including outsourced payroll, policy compliance, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Contribute to key HR areas such as performance management, compensation & benefits, or learning & development
  • Ensure all HR practices are aligned with local labour laws and regulation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior HR Executive should have:

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience within a multinational environment, with strong exposure to HR operations
  • Candidates from engineering, industrial or energy related background are preferred
  • Mandarin speaker preferably
  • Experience in at least one key HR function performance management, compensation & benefits, or learning & development
  • Able to work independently in a lean team while collaborating with shared services and internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
