Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT solutions and enterprise data pipelines.
  • Build and enhance data warehouse and modern data platform solutions supporting reporting and analytics.
  • Engage business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Present and recommend data-related solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality and support best practices across data engineering initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on enterprise-wide data projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Data Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL/ELT development.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and developing ETL/ELT solutions.
  • Proven experience engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, and presenting data solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to Databricks is a strong advantage.
  • Mandarin-speaking capability is required to support business stakeholders and regional collaboration.
