Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
  • Support external audits by preparing required documentation and addressing queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Controllership Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in handling tax compliance and audits.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
