Job Description

  • Lead commercial finance activities to provide accurate insight for business planning and decision-making.
  • Review financial performance and highlight key trends that affect commercial results.
  • Prepare financial analysis to support pricing, product and customer discussions.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts that help the business plan resources and commercial priorities.
  • Track actual results against plans and explain key variances to relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with commercial teams to improve the use of financial data in daily decisions.
  • Prepare clear management reports that present financial performance in a practical format.
  • Improve finance processes and reporting practices to support timely, consistent information.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Commercial Finance Manager should have:

  • Strong commercial finance experience, with the ability to turn data into clear business insight.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial performance reports.
  • Confidence in analysing variances and explaining financial results clearly.
  • Ability to work closely with commercial stakeholders on planning and decision-making.
  • Strong financial modelling and reporting capability.
  • Good understanding of financial planning and performance management.
