We are seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to manage end-to-end invoice and payment processing activities while ensuring compliance with internal controls and service level agreements.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established multinational corporation (MNC) with a global shared services operation supporting international markets and business functions.

Job Description

  • Process supplier and intercompany invoices accurately and within agreed KPIs.
  • Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice validation, payment processing, and exception management.
  • Manage supplier reconciliations, payment queries, and outstanding items.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, accrual analysis, and AP reporting.
  • Support process improvements, system enhancements, testing, and operational projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve AP-related issues promptly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance AP Japanese - Invoice & Payment should have:

  • Business proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above), including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Accounting, or Shared Services.
  • Experience working in a KPI-driven finance operations environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related disciplines.
