Job Description

  • Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Review and verify financial documents to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management review.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit purposes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and accounting standards to ensure best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior AP should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounts payable processes and financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools commonly used in the Retail industry.
