They focus on innovation and operational excellence, offering a stable and professional environment for growth and development.Job DescriptionLead and manage all production operations within the section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards.Take full accountability for operational performance, including process effectiveness, risk management, and customer satisfaction.Provide managerial leadership and technical guidance; actively engage in problem-solving and resource optimisation.Analyse data and procedures to develop effective solutions and drive process improvements.Oversee and deliver complex improvement projects that enhance operational excellence.Ensure timely and accurate submission of all production-related reports.Assess team skills and competencies; implement training and career development plans.Guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.Support Environmental Health & Safety policies and regulations at all times.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.The Successful ApplicantA successful Section Manager should have:Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum 8 years' experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) within the aviation industry (advantageous).At least 3 years in a leadership role with proven ability to manage teams and operations.Expertise in manufacturing planning, safety management, quality assurance, and budgeting.Advanced knowledge of Aviation Regulations, MRO requirements, and related documentation (MPM/QAR).Strong understanding of inspection techniques, quality control, and production planning.Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).Strong leadership, collaboration, time management, and project management skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational improvement.Familiarity with aerospace repair processes (NDT, welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, metal forming) is an advantage.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).What's on OfferCompetitive salary package ranging from MYR13000 to MYR18000.Opportunity to work with a large organisation in the industrial and manufacturing industry.Permanent position with job stability and career growth prospects.Exposure to a professional and innovative work environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Section Manager - Production to take the next step in their career.
