Job Description

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog and prioritise work effectively.
  • Identify and remove obstacles that may hinder the team's progress or productivity.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring transparency for all stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Drive alignment between cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • A strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve team impediments effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy technology environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Agile or Scrum practices are advantageous.
