Job Description

  • Manage and optimize SAP BTP landscapes, including accounts, subaccounts, services, and connectivity
  • Design and implement automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) to improve platform scalability and efficiency
  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Support SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environments and enable seamless application deployment
  • Drive platform reliability through monitoring, observability, governance, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement authentication, authorization, and connectivity solutions
  • Support integrations across enterprise systems using APIs, SAP Cloud Connector, and SAP BTP services
  • Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams while promoting DevOps and automation best practices

The Successful Applicant

A successful SAP BTP Platform Engineer should have:

  • Over 2 years of experience in SAP BTP, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps environments
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including platform administration, services, and connectivity management
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions to support automated deployment and delivery processes
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform, to automate and scale cloud platform operations
  • Knowledge of platform monitoring, governance, security, authentication, and authorization best practices
  • Familiarity with APIs, SAP Cloud Connector, and enterprise integration concepts
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across development, infrastructure, and business teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving automation, reliability, and continuous improvement
