Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the record-to-report (RTR) processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve accounting processes.
  • Handle reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
  • Communicate effectively in Japanese, Mandarin, and Cantonese to support various stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial processes and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful RTR Specialist (Japanese Speaker) should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (min JLPT N2) and English. Candidate who are proficient in Mandarin OR Cantonese are an added advantage
  • Min 1 year experience in RTR or related SSC experience
  • Experience in ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) are an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
