Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Handle month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support ledger management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for audits and reporting requirements.
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful RTR Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a shared services environment effectively.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at different levels.
